Strategic communication expert, executive producer & anchor with 15 years experience in the media industry, extensive experience in storytelling, business reporting, creating media campaigns and strategies to engage local and international audiences.
Daleen is an experienced media trainer and advisor for many high-level profiles in the region.
As a Bureau chief of Euronews in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, in 2018 she established the presence of the international news channel in GCC region, when she created Inspire Middle East a weekly show in both languages English and french, the show is a modern, culture, business and lifestyle feature show which focuses on inspiring stories and thought leaders, aiming to shine a light on projects and initiatives as they are happening in the UAE & the MENA region,
Daleen believes that feature content is one of the "strongest soft tools" to create bridges of knowledge to the audiences in Europe, Asia and the US.
She covered current affairs and business events in various parts of the world such as UAE, Saudi, Morocco, Tunisia, Japan, Lebanon, Austria, Belgium, US, UK, Ivory Coast, Egypt, France, Syria, Singapore, Kenya, Russia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Jordan.
Joined Euronews in 2010 as a broadcast journalist for the Arabic service, she covered the Arab spring as duty editor for a multilingual team.
2103/2014 moved to work in digital journalism as a web journalist & social media community manager for the Arabic website of Euronews.
In 2014 and 2015 produced and presented Business Middle East, a weekly business show in Arabic and English, broadcasted in 12 languages.
In 2016 and 2017 she was appointed as an international roving reporter and presenter for Euronews programs(( focus, target, culture, made in Morocco, spotlight, Vip interviews, special coverage)).
Daleen is an experienced media trainer and advisor for many high-level profiles in the region.
A Master’s degree from Lyon 2 Lumière University in Cinematography and Audiovisual Studies and a BA from The University of Damascus in Journalism and Media. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
Before joining Euronews, Daleen was a producer for Abu Dhabi TV and worked as producer, reporter and news anchor for several media outlets in the Middle East.
As she is passionate about cinema, Daleen co- produced her first movie in 2020 Kino Genève (( deep blue audition)), also she is a flamenco dance hobbyist.
